Terms of service

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of Trackora (“Trackora”, “we”, “us”), an online service for tracking a business’s equipment, the people it is assigned to, and stocktakes, at trackora.cloud. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions about them: trackoracloud@gmail.com.

Accounts and workspaces

You need an account to use Trackora, and you are responsible for keeping its password secure. Data is kept in workspaces. The person who creates a workspace is its owner, and decides who else is a member and what each member may do. You must have the right to put into a workspace whatever you put into it, including information about other people.

Subscriptions and payment

Some or all use of a workspace may require a paid subscription. Prices are shown on the pricing page and in the checkout before you pay.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle sells the subscription to you, takes the payment, charges any sales tax, issues receipts and invoices, and handles refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms, shown in the checkout, apply to the purchase. For a receipt or a question about a charge you can also go to Paddle at paddle.net.

  • Plans are billed monthly or once a year, in US dollars, at the prices on the pricing page; any sales tax or VAT is added in the checkout. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is canceled.
  • An owner can cancel at any time from the workspace’s billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; the workspace keeps full access until then, and nothing more is charged.
  • If a renewal payment fails, the workspace keeps full access while Paddle retries the payment. If payment is not recovered, Paddle pauses or cancels the subscription.
  • A workspace without a subscription in force, including one whose subscription is paused or canceled, becomes read-only. Its data is not deleted: its owner can still see it, export all of it, subscribe again, or delete the workspace.
  • Refunds are described in the refund policy.

Your data

The data in a workspace belongs to the workspace’s owner. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. An owner can export all of a workspace’s data at any time, whether or not it has a subscription.

When an owner asks for a workspace to be deleted, it is deleted permanently 14 days later; until then the request can be withdrawn. A workspace with a subscription in force cannot be deleted until its subscription is canceled.

Acceptable use

Do not use Trackora for anything unlawful, to store material you have no right to store, or in a way that disrupts the service or tries to reach data you have not been given access to. We may suspend a workspace or account that does, and will say why unless the law prevents it.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Trackora available and your data safe, but cannot promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We will tell account holders by email before a change to these terms that affects them takes effect, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
