Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data Trackora (“we”) holds when you use trackora.cloud, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: trackoracloud@gmail.com.

What we hold

  • Your account: your name and email address, and your password, stored only as a one-way hash.
  • Sign-ins: for each active session, the IP address and browser it was started from, so you can see and end your sessions.
  • The activity log: who changed what in a workspace and when, with the IP address and browser used.
  • Workspace content: whatever members enter, which can include the names, email addresses and departments of the people equipment is assigned to, and the email addresses of people invited to join.
  • Billing: the identifiers Paddle gives a workspace’s subscription and customer, the plan, and the subscription’s status and dates. We never receive or store card or bank details.

Why

To provide the service you signed up for (your account, your workspaces and their billing), to keep it secure (sessions, the activity log, limits on repeated sign-in attempts), and to send the emails the service needs: address confirmation, password resets and invitations. We do not sell personal data or show advertising. We use Google Analytics on our public website only, as described below.

For the content of a workspace, its owner decides what is entered and why; we hold it on their behalf.

Who else processes it

  • Render hosts the application and its database.
  • Resend delivers the service’s emails.
  • Paddle is our reseller and merchant of record. It collects the payment and billing details you give in the checkout under its own privacy policy, linked from the checkout.

Website analytics

Trackora uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our public website and to improve its performance, content, and user experience.

Google Analytics may collect information such as:

  • Pages visited and interactions with public website content.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Browser type, device information, and operating system.
  • Referral sources and information about how visitors arrive at our website.
  • Date, time, and duration of website visits.

This information is processed through Google Analytics and may involve cookies or similar technologies. Google may process this information on our behalf in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy policies.

Analytics scope: Google Analytics is intended to operate only on Trackora’s public website pages. We do not intentionally use Google Analytics to track activity within authenticated customer workspaces or to collect information about assets, employees, inventory records, or other private workspace data.

We use analytics information to measure website traffic, understand visitor behavior, identify improvements, and evaluate the effectiveness of our website.

For more information about how Google handles data, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Cookies

Inside the application, Trackora sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. On the billing and checkout pages, Paddle’s checkout may set its own cookies to process the payment. On our public website, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>, kept for up to two years) to tell visits apart. You can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

How long

Account data is kept until you delete your account. A workspace is kept until its owner deletes it; it is then removed permanently 14 days after the request. A workspace whose subscription ends is not deleted. Copies may remain in our hosting provider’s database backups after deletion, until those backups expire.

Your rights

You can see your name and email and correct your name in your account settings, end your sessions, and delete your account; to change your email address, write to us. A workspace owner can export all of a workspace’s data at any time. For anything else, including a copy of the data we hold about you or a complaint, write to us at trackoracloud@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.
